What

veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to
the front surface of your teeth to create any smile you
desire. We first shape the teeth, then take an impression
of them. This impression is sent to a certified cosmetic
laboratory technician where the shells of porcelain are
constructed. During the laboratory time, the patient wears
custom fitted temporary veneers that closely resemble the
permanent veneers being made. This gives the patient a chance
to essentially “test drive” their new smile
and make any changes they desire. Once the patient is completely
satisfied with the shape and look of the temporary veneers,
a picture is taken that is given to the laboratory technician
so they may copy that style.
